Terrestrial Ecosystems is an environmental consultancy and wildlife research company that specialises in working with terrestrial vertebrate fauna. We undertake fauna surveys, fauna assessments, fauna relocation, fauna management, and feral and pest animal control and management in Perth and across Western Australia. Terrestrial Ecosystems provides clients with high quality terrestrial fauna surveys and fauna assessments, assists with the preparation of site specific fauna management plans and procedures, and manages and undertakes fauna relocation programs for all terrestrial fauna including species of conservation significance. Terrestrial Ecosystems also conducts feral and pest animal management and control programs across Western Australia.

Terrestrial Ecosystems work in collaboration with other industry specialists to provide flora and vegetation, and SRE and subterranean fauna survey and management programs.

Terrestrial Ecosystems have a strong commitment to improving the quality of terrestrial fauna surveys, fauna assessments and fauna management based on research and a better understanding of terrestrial fauna assemblages and ecosystems in Australia. The partners are active researchers working at understanding the biology and ecology of Western Australian vertebrate fauna.

Staff regularly publish in the scientific literature, present at workshops and conferences and are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve the industry standards. Our focus is on clients that want quality outcomes, applied, innovative and science based solutions, and not simply the cheapest product. Our clients come to us because of our reputation for utilising good science and providing excellent outcomes, or when they have had poor experiences from other providers and need ‘problems’ fixed.
